Joey Freddy Larsen was born and raised in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.  An Actor, Comedian, Host, Speaker & Performance Coach, Joey's creative ventures are based in the bustling film and theatre hub of Toronto.

Since 2009, Joey has seamlessly combined his talents as an actor and standup comedian working in TV, film, and theatre, with coaching fellow performers to grow from unseen to unforgettable and book your next lead role through his signature programs: Monologue of the Month Club, Actors Audition Club and Audition Hero Academy.

As host of Inside the Audition podcast, Joey empowers actors like you to unleash your full potential, stand out in every audition, and land life-changing roles.

Joey’s captivating performances have brought lead roles to life in the action-thriller We Came to Wreck Everything - Winner Best Feature - 2024 Canadian Indie Film Festival, kids comedy series Oh Yuck! (Netflix) and r/nosleep horror anthology Tales from the Void (ScreamBox/Prime).

When Joey isn’t working on stage or on-screen, you'll find him adventuring with his Pug Luna, playing guitar, singing and traveling to his favorite place (New York City, the Hollywood Hills and Sedona, Arizona.)
