We made a movie in 48 hours. Here’s why you should stop waiting for auditions and start shooting your own lead roles.

🧭TL;DR

• 🎥 We created a dark comedy short, KILLER SHOT, in 48 hours.
• 💪 Action beats perfection. Don’t wait for permission.
• 🧠 Fear is contagious. Courage is, too. Choose action.
• 🌟 Inside Monologue of the Month Club, we help you create your own lead role performances.
• 🎬 Join the Your Next Lead Role Reel Challenge to turn your monologue into a professional reel.
• 🙌 Shoutout to Hools Wyder and Brandon Knox for directing their own films this weekend.

🎥 FEATURE STORY: “KILLER SHOT” — WE MADE A MOVIE IN 48 HOURS

This weekend, our Actors Audition Club x Kontakt Films team wrote, shot, and edited KILLER SHOT for the Toronto 48hr Film Project.

No waiting for auditions. No hoping for callbacks. Just artists taking action together.

We proved that passionate creators can make something powerful with limited time and resources. When you stop waiting and start creating, everything changes.

🔥 Our crew:

• 🎬 Shane Fester as the fearless Dipshit Skateboarder with stellar stunts and BTS content

• 💄 Laura Morra on makeup and hair, plus a cameo as Lorra

• 🎧 Ben Norman Davies on sound, craft, clutch support, and on-screen cameo vibes

• 💋 Tara O’Brien leading as our Femme Fatale, Lana

• 🎥 Adam Bialo as MVP, writing, directing, shooting, producing, and editing

Huge love to the whole team.

🗓️ Premiere: Nov 12th, 6:30 PM at Revue Theatre, Toronto

⚡ THE LESSON: STOP WAITING FOR AUDITIONS

Fear is loud right now. Headlines, uncertainty, paralysis.
If you wait for the world to settle, you will wait forever.

Actors who write, shoot, and perform their own work create their own opportunities. When you film your own lead roles, you do more than practice. You show the world exactly what you can do.
